I am a visual artist with an academic background in Fine Arts, Department of Painting. Since 2003, my artistic journey has grown through teaching, studio practice, cultural projects, and exhibitions.
Alongside oil painting, I have also worked with ebru, stained glass, textile design, and graphic design. Since 2022, I have been living in the Netherlands, continuing artistic and social collaborations.
My passion is exploring painting as a form of emotional and visual expression. I work with oil painting, watercolor, ebru, and abstract concepts, creating connections between color, texture, and emotion.
Through workshops and exhibitions, I enjoy sharing art as a collective and inspiring experience.
Connection between people, cultures, and artistic expression is very important to me. I believe art can bring people together beyond language and background.
I value collaboration, creativity, and the social impact of art.
After graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts, I worked in cultural and educational institutions, leading artistic and social projects. I also worked as a university project coordinator and administrator.
Since moving to the Netherlands, I have organized more than 15 exhibitions, including exhibitions in Barcelona, and continue collaborating with municipalities, foundations, and local communities on artistic projects.
“Art is a journey of persistence and a bridge of dialogue between people.” I. Demir
