Ania Staśkiewicz

I live in the countryside, dance salsa, and love traveling, markets, and local food. At work, I listen to people and draw their thoughts—most often live, right in front of an entire room.

For 18 years, I worked in the field of European funds, managing projects and teams. I left my full-time job, and today I combine that experience with visual thinking. I help people see and organize what they are discussing, as well as find a simpler way to convey their ideas and streamline communication.

My Passions...

For over eight years, I have been doing graphic recording, which involves creating live visual notes. During conferences, panels, and meetings, I listen, capture the most important thoughts, and combine words with images. This is how a visual summary is created, which can be revisited long after the event.

I work on paper using Neuland markers, for which I am an ambassador, as well as digitally on an iPad in Procreate. I draw in both Polish and English. I have collaborated with brands such as Danone, Medicover, Orange, L’Oréal, Samsung, and MOWI, among others.

I also conduct workshops on sketchnoting, visual thinking, and effective communication. I show how simple drawings can be used to organize information, present ideas, and support communication. I work with students, career counselors, coaches, educators, trainers, and corporate teams.

I am actively involved in the international community of sketchnoters and visual practitioners. Through it, I meet people from all over the world, exchange experiences, and learn from one another. In 2022, I invited them to Szczecin, organizing the 5th International Sketchnote Camp in Poland.

People, relationships, and the opportunity to seek solutions together are important to me. Collaborating with others, seeing the world from different perspectives, and learning from one another is invaluable.

I believe that simple drawings can help us better understand each other and collaborate. I also value having space for life outside of work, because my family is the most important thing to me.

My motto:

Drawing is not a talent; it is a way of thinking.
