Sabina Gorzeń-Tomczyk

Creativity has always held an important place in my life. Today, I follow my own path with growing courage, combining everyday life and my work with children with the need to seek my own way of expressing what moves me.

Until recently, my artistic activities centered around working with yarn and weaving on a loom. It was then that I discovered the pleasure of working with materials. More recently, my attention has been focused mainly on painting.

My Passions...

I am at the beginning of this creative journey, and its most important part for me right now is discovering my own way of expressing what makes me pause and moves me. I do not confine myself to a single style; I am constantly searching and allowing myself to experiment, change, and freely follow whatever inspires me most at any given moment. Through this, I explore how I can express emotions and impressions in a more intuitive, sensory, and personal way.

Currently, nature is my source of inspiration. Flowers are particularly close to me—their diversity, delicacy, and richness of colors, but also their variability, irregularity, and natural imperfection. Arranging flowers in a vase brings me a lot of satisfaction, and I feel that floristry has become an important reference point in my creative process.

In my daily work, I primarily accompany children in discovering and understanding emotions. This experience teaches me attentiveness toward others, their needs, and their individual ways of experiencing the world. I deeply believe that awareness of our own emotions, bodies, and inner needs is essential for our well-being.

I perceive painting in a similar way. What matters to me is not only the finished painting, but also the very process of its creation. Creating becomes a way for me to pause, direct my attention inward, and give form to what is not always easy to express in words.

I want to develop my creative work without imposing rigid frameworks on it. I leave room within it for curiosity, change, and my own pace. I believe that it is precisely through openness and new experiences that something truly personal can gradually emerge—my own way of expressing myself and talking about the world.

Moje motto:

I believe that every experience can become a source of reflection and growth. All it takes is to pause, observe it attentively, and find something valuable within it to take with you on the journey ahead.
