I’m Zuza and I simply like poetry. I write poems, but I am also an active reader of poetry. In 2023, I founded the Poetry Exchange Point—a project aimed at promoting poetry on the internet and in public spaces. Initially, I created it anonymously because I was afraid of being judged.
I wanted to create a place where poems could simply circulate among people—hence the idea “leave a poem / take a poem.” And I think I succeeded. Today, there are over 120 Poetry Exchange Point frames operating in Poland. That’s my little success.
I am interested in art in a very broad context. Besides poetry, I love theater, audiovisual arts, and photography. I like observing how different art forms intersect and the various ways one can tell stories about emotions, people, and the world around us. An analog Olympus OM-10 accompanies me every day—shooting on film teaches mindfulness and how to slow down a bit.
People, encounters, and things that carry a lot of truth and sensitivity are important to me. I would like poetry to be more present in everyday life and for everyone to be able to find something for themselves in it.
